My first teacher wasmy mother. As I progressed through the early grades, I played the violin in the school recorder group and performed at many school events. At the age of 9, I started Saturday lessons at the Kent music centre in Maidstone.

We understand that it isn't always very easy to have music lessons. You might not have enough time to travel to the home of your teacher. The issues that are most important are to do with the musicteacher. How do you know if they're qualified. Do they have a DBS check? Teach Tutti was launched with the vision that everyone can learn to play music. That makes our job very simple.

I began to play the guitar at the age of ten and the passion for music and a fascination with the seemingly endless possibilities of the guitar has remained with me ever since. I have now played for42 years and I am still discovering the instrument every day. My initial influences were many and varied. I consider myself fortunate to have grown up at a time when virtuoso playing was the order of the day.

We hope you'll enjoy looking around the new site where we've put up lots of informationabout the music tuition we provide, the instrumental ensembles we run and any news or events. We've also created an all new online application form for both music tuition and ensembles which should make it much easier for parents and carers of prospective students to apply.
