Tuition

In his new studio in the heart of London's South Bank, Walter Fabeck is now offering personal, tailor-made programmes of music tuition.

Drawing on 20 years of professional performing and teaching, Walter brings a combination of experiences together to illuminate the subject. His method is based on developing an understanding of music from its primary elements - melody, harmony, rhythm and tone - which cross the borders of genre, period and culture.

Walter's pupils range in age from five to seventy-five, and thanks to his broad musical interests he can nurture skills and illuminate styles ranging from the classical repertoire to contemporary music. With wide experience as a private teacher, he's fully qualified to enter students for graded exams in Classical Piano, Jazz Piano and Theory, from 'Prep Tests' to advanced Diplomas. Students of all abilities are welcome, from beginners upwards. Tuition is friendly and informal, but always focussed on realising the potential of each student to the maximum.

Walter can also teach all aspects of contemporary composition, including exploration of creative music technology, centred on the Logic software environment.
