Celtic Roots Community Music Academy is a Wirral-based social enterprise specialising in traditional Celtic music. We aim to raise awareness of Celtic music and heritage through participatory music-making, using Celtic performing arts to support education, learning and wellbeing for people of all ages. Our long-term goal is to establish a North West Centre of Excellence in music and Celtic performing arts.
Bass guitarist and double bass player Steve Amadeo has been touring and recording since 1998, playing at music venues and festivals in the UK and Europe for a variety of original artists. As well as full-band electric gigs with Ian, Steve played double bass in Ian's acoustic trio. He continues to tour with Aynsley and has recently completed parts on his new album, due for release in the Spring of 2013.
