I am a guitar, bass and vocal tutor in the Colchester and North Essex area. I teach students of all ages and in most styles, but specialise in pop, rock, blues, jazz & funk. My teaching style isrelaxed and flexible and very much depends on the student, but I endeavor to make your lessons interesting and fun. Most lessons are one hour in duration, but occasionally are shortened for younger children.
I am a qualified pianist and musician with skills in music performance and tuition. I have a Bachelors Degree (with honours) in Music, and a Professional Graduate Certificate in Education (QTLS). Ihave been teaching and performing music since 2004; it is my passion and lifelong pursuit.

Ipswich Music Schools was founded in 2009 under the name Punch Rock Schools. Whatever your standard or aspirations I can help you to learn to play the piano. If you want to study for examinations I can take you up to Piano Grade 8 and Theory up to Grade 5 (GCSE standard). Iuse the Associated Board Examinations which are accepted as the Gold Standard for music examinations.
