North Wales Music Tuition Charity was established in 1989 by the Founders as Colwyn Music Studios and was based in Colwyn Bay, North Wales. Later a second Tuition Centre was opened at Rhuddlan, nearRhyl, Denbighshire and the organisation was renamed to North Wales Music Tuition. Six years later in the year 2000 the 3rd centre was opened at Garden City (near Queensferry) Flintshire.

The concept of Brynhyfryd Music Teaching Studios was born when Beverley Morgan was studying music at Trinity College of Music in London. Whilst there she formulated ideas for starting a Music TeachingSchool in Swansea. That's why Principal Beverley Morgan decided to open up 'Brynhyfryd Music Teaching Studios'. Now, 25 years later Brynhyfryd Music Teaching Studios is still a thriving business, giving the people of Wales a chance to learn and study many different aspects of music.
