I am an experienced Music teacher based in south devon and offer tuition for children and adults in Cello, Piano, Music theory and GCSE Music. From beginner to advanced, for exams or just for fun, all ages and abilities are welcome.
Whether you are a parent looking for tuition for your child or an adult wishing to learn to play then I will do my best to meet your needs.
Some children are motivated by exams and others just want to learn for fun. Whichever approach suits your child best is the route I will take with them. I strongly believe in tailoring each lesson to the individual student so no two lessons are ever the same. It is for this reason that I encourage my students to learn and play pieces they enjoy. If children are not working towards an exam I will encourage them to choose pieces they like and styles they are interested in. When studying for the exams where pieces are from a set list it is the student who decides which pieces they would prefer to learn.
