The Elgar School of Music is located beside Huntingdon Hall in the centre of Worcester. I started my career in 2001 with The Dr Teeth Big Band and was signed to Big Bear records. I toured the UK, Spain, France, Italy, Norway and Chicago and recorded 2 albums with the Teeth. I have beenluck enough to share stages with artists such as McFly, Billy Cobham, the Count Basie Orchestra, Roy Ayers, Kyle Eastwood, Robert Plant and Chaz & Dave! I continue to tour and record as a freelance session musician. As an educator I have worked in almost all educational settings.

John is a full member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians. John regularly enters pupils for Associated Board practical and theory examinations with excellent results. Other Boards are used wherenecessary. Over 430 examinations have been passed with John's help. John has the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of ability levels and age groups. Written records are kept for all lessons given.
