His career as West End theatre drummer has included a 22-year run at Blood Brothers as well as Little Shop of Horrors, Chess, Time, and has seen him accompanying stars like Mel C, Natasha Hamilton, Marti Pellow, Cliff Richard, Stephanie Lawrence, David Cassidy and David Soul.

I am a professional Guitar player, Teacher and NLP coach. I am originally from Italy and I've been based in London since 1997. I bought my first guitar around the age of nine but I started playing itregularly when I was fourteen. I haven't stopped playing since. I have played with Boney M (Mazie Williams) Junior Giscombe, Glenn Goldsmith, Jeffrey Daniel and countless cover bands and duos in Italy, London and around Europe for almost two decades.

Once you have made up your mind to have guitar lessons it is sometimes difficult to find the right guitar teacher. If you want to learn the guitar you can find yourself wasting hours trying to createa professional sound and becoming frustrated with the results.

From early beginnings, Chris and Laura McGinity set up Finchley Music School, with just two music courses; Keyboard and Guitar. At that point the school was a Yamaha Music School, using music andother material supplied by Yamaha, with teacher training provided by them as well. It all sounded great! Sadly, the music courses that Yamaha provided turned out to be quite undeveloped, with a lack of material being the main issue, though not the only one.

For pupils who wish to study towards examinations, the major UK Schools of Music (ABRSM and Trinity) are an excellent route to go as they provide goals for pupils to work towards, especially in thearea of performance. For this reason, we teach Grades 1 - 8 from the syllabuses of the major institutions as well as music-theory exams.

I am based in East Finchley in Barnet but am able to teach across North and Central London. FCMG (Finchley Children's Music Group) is a UK youth choir, for children aged 4 to 18. It is dedicated to the promotion of choral music for young people. It is a highly versatile group of mixed-voicechoirs producing a natural, vibrant vocal quality together with a high level of musicianship and professionalism. Involved in the world of both 'pop' and jazz for over 40 years, Brian was Musical Director for Marian Montgomery for over ten years, was part of the orchestra at CATS for 21 years and a member ofsuccessful jazz fusion bands Isotope and Turning Point.

It is with great sadness that we have to make the announcement that Alchemea College is to cease trading with immediate effect. Many of you will be aware of SSR, a college similar to Alchemea in many respects. SSR have very kindly agreed to place all current Alchemea students on their courses without cost to us or our students.

When I'm not teaching, I tour and record with my own band, and with Kee Marcello, who was in Europe (Remember "The Final Countdown"?). I've played on the BBC with Beverley Knight, and on ITV. I tendto keep a bit quiet about the ITV one, because it was playing guitar for the Stars In Their Eyes Kids live final. But it was with Cat Deeley, so it had its upsides.
