About the Business
Roundhay Music is a not-for-profit organisation, based in Leeds, set up with the help of private funds and donations in 1987. The objectives were to address the difficulties that students had in locating and accessing experienced instrumental and singing teachers and to promote music in the home. Since then, Roundhay Music has grown and developed to encompass all aspects of music education.
We provide expert music tuition by carefully selected tutors so that music can be full of enjoyment even if taken seriously and studied hard. We can arrange tuition in Leeds and the surrounding area on an individual basis.

Tuition Info
Private Tuition:
Tuition is available on any instrument to pupils of all ages or standards in and around Leeds. We also have tutors available for singing lessons, history of music, composition, theory and aural. We offer all styles, including jazz, classical, folk and rock.
Exams:
We can help students who wish to work towards practical and theory graded examinations, music diplomas or GCSE / AS / A Level music examinations. We experience a high exam rate of merits and distinctions (see our Latest News page for the most recent statistics) and there are frequent music scholarships to senior schools gained by our pupils. Of course, we also cater for those who wish to play for enjoyment only!
Tutors:
Roundhay Music tutors are carefully selected from interview and audition as highly qualified teachers and experienced professional players specialising in their own particular instrument. All tutors have enhanced disclosures from the Disclosure & Barring Service.
