Stratford Music Centre

The aims of Stratford Music Centre are to provide a quality professional service and to encourage students of all ages to learn, enjoy and appreciate different types of music, dance and drama.

We were very privileged to welcome Leon Cave the drummer with Status Quo to the centre on Sunday May 10th for a Rock School open day where any student aged 10 - 18 yrs could come along, join in a rock band and play 'Quo' music. The Centre's Rock School tutors (pictured left with Leon seated at the drums) were also involved throughout the day.

The day included workshops with Leon and the Rock School team and a performance at the end of the day of the Quo songs learned. Eight groups worked together throughout the day and performed to a "full house" in the afternoon. We want to express our sincere thanks to Leon for his involvement in this very successful day, to the Band collectively for the Guitar, and to our resident Tutors for their support and involvement throughout.
