About the Business
My name is Lorraine Migliorini. My parents found me my first piano teacher, a blind man who sadly is no longer with us. His lack of sight was invaluable to me; he honed my musical 'ear' to a very high standard whereby I can listen to a piece, play it and then re-write it, if necessary, at different levels. A most useful tool for all standards and abilities of pupils who are craving to play their favourite tune, especially teenagers undertaking GCSE/A level in this subject.
I am primarily a teacher, then a performer. Passionate about passing on information, I would like to think this is evident through the music and careers of my students, a few of whom have continued to be successful musicians/performers in their own right.
I myself am a pianist and violinist and have grade 8 in both, with distinctions on violin and in theory, too. I also play the guitar to a lesser level.
