About the Business
We are a true community music centre in the Furness Peninsula in South Cumbria, catering for all ages and ability of people who want to make music with others.
If you are already an orchestral or choral musician you may like to join one of our groups at our Saturday Music School, and enjoy ensemble music or singing in a choir. If you are a complete beginner or would like some advice on starting to play an instrument, then contact our Director of Music who will be able to advise you. If you would like to sing in a choir but don't read music, don't worry! About a quarter of the current members of the choir don't read music and if you would like to learn we'll teach you! If you are simply a music lover who is looking to learn more about concerts in the region, there are many events throughout the year that you are welcome to attend, both our own concerts and visits to professional concerts and we are certain that you will find something to suit your musical preference!
