About the Business
Lorna is an experienced music teacher providing tuition for students of all ages and abilities. Teaching Piano, Singing and Music Theory to beginner, intermediate and advanced students throughout Cheshire, Shropshire and North Wales area.
Lessons take place in an informal, comfortable and peaceful environment at her home near Malpas in Cheshire. Lorna graduated from Sandown College of the Performing Arts in Liverpool (now Liverpool College) where she qualified in Piano and Vocal Performance along with Teaching / Education.
Lorna is currently working on advancing her vocal skills with renowned Welsh Opera Soprano Anne Williams-King. Although a classically trained pianist and singer Lorna loves to cater for all styles of music and has performance experience in all genres from rock and pop to singing at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall.

Lessons
Lorna teaches in a positive and encouraging way, whilst still challenging the student to build on their existing skills and explore a wide repertoire available in all genres.
Music theory, scales, sight reading, technical exercises, performance skills and composing are also included in the lessons so that the student gains a rounded musical education. This gives the opportunity for creativity and increases engagement.
Although a classically trained musician, Lorna teaches all genres of music including classical, folk, musical theatre and rock/pop. Students are encouraged to develop their own musical interests and explore the different styles of playing fully. This way they are motivated to learn and achieve more.
