Instrumental Lessons:

Farnham Music and Drama is the ideal place to begin or continue learning of your chosen instrument. Tuition is offered at all levels for a wide range of instruments and all classes take place in the purpose-built Farnham Music and Drama studio.

The teachers work individually with each student to improve their skills as a player and help grow their passion as well as understanding of music. To further enjoyment of music and the performing arts, there is the added opportunity to join in with a host of other group classes including ensembles, choirs and drama groups.

Instruments currently being taught are Piano; Strings - Violin & Suzuki Violin, Cello, Guitar (Acoustic, Electric, Bass, Classic & Ukulele); Woodwind - Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone; Singing; Brass - Trumpet, Trombone, Tuba, French Horn, Tenor Horn, Euphonium.

Theory Lessons:

Farnham Music and Drama offers theory lessons from grade 1 - 8 taught in groups for four to five students.

Suzuki Violin:

The Suzuki method is based on the philosophy that all children have the ability to learn a musical instrument and can enrich their lives through music making. Children can learn from as young as 3 years old and will learn through individual and group tuition together with opportunities to listen to and perform with professional musicians.

Music Technology:

Starting in January 2016 we will be offering a music technology course for those who wish to learn more about the technology involved in composing music. We will teach music production using Apple's Logic Pro X which will suit those students doing A levels, GCSE or BTEC Music.

Composing using technology in the form of other notation packages such as Sibelius or Cubase will also be on offer as well as using a mobile phone or tablet to compose. Lessons will be either on a one to one basis or group tuition.
