My name is Matt Coombes and I have been teaching students of all ages to play the Piano in the South-East Kent area since 1998. Oliver Payne is a composer, lyricist, orchestrator and musical director for theatre. Born in Devon, he now lives and works in London. Oliver graduated from Trinity College of Music with a first classhonours degree in composition and was awarded the Alan J Kirby Prize for conducting. He was also a recent finalist for the Cameron Mackintosh Composer Scheme and has been proclaimed by Sir Mark Elder as a composer with a "real sense of bravura writing".

From grade orientated Classical Piano to Speed Based Electric Guitar or Composition using the latest technology, all paths of modern and classical music can be taught.

From early beginnings, Chris and Laura McGinity set up Finchley Music School, with just two music courses; Keyboard and Guitar. At that point the school was a Yamaha Music School, using music andother material supplied by Yamaha, with teacher training provided by them as well. It all sounded great! Sadly, the music courses that Yamaha provided turned out to be quite undeveloped, with a lack of material being the main issue, though not the only one.
